Environmental Chemistry of Community Water Systems
Spring semesters
This is a fun water quality lab class! To understand water chemistry and quality, we have field trips to collect water samples from Binghamton University's nature preserve as well as visit wastewater and drinking water treatment plants in our community. We learn to use portable devices to measure water quality in the field, and conduct further organic analysis in the laboratory. You will be able to make scientific conclusions about the water quality in our community by comparing your testing results with water regulations. SOOT survey 4.6/5
