Water Quality Eng Research Lab
Water quality engineering
Research
Our research focuses on the risk assessment of contaminants arising from society and technological development. We are particularly interested in water quality challenges arising from human activities, developing laboratory experiments and mechanistic models, and evaluate risk assessment for contaminants in natural (surface water, groundwater, and soil systems) and engineered systems (drinking water and wastewater treatment systems).
Facilities
Our laboratory is equipped to conduct environmental chemistry and environmental engineering experiments. We use total organic carbon analyzer, MilliQ nanopure water system, ion chromatography (IC), gas chromatographs (GC), and the Liquid Chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) designed for ultra high performance applications.
