EPA Source Reduction Award

Dr. Yuxin Wang (PI) with Co-PIs Dr. Yong Wang, Dr. Susan Lu, and ECE’s Dr. Tara Dhakal recently received an award from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)! Their project titled "Reducing Toxics in the Power Sector Through Technology Improvements" is about renewable energy systems and their environmental impacts. Our team will be working on low-lead perovskites solar cells and their long-term stability and environment impacts, coupled with an AI early detection system of drones for broken and degraded solar panels.
